Kristin Fisher is joining CNN in 2021 when she joined CNN. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In this role, Fisher is responsible for covering everything including NASA's recently-created Space Force to commercial space businesses and the advent space tourism. Kristin has a background in the field of space as the daughter and granddaughter of NASA astronauts. For the last five years, she has reported on space policy during the Biden and Trump administrations in FOX News. While there, she also covered two impeachment trials for the president and the presdiential 2020 campaign, as well as two attempts by the administration to stop the pandemic of coronavirus. The former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan on a highly-restricted trip. Kristin was a television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., where she earned the Emmy Award for her work as the "one-man-band" reporter, before joining CBS in 2015. Kristin made use of her experiences in front of the camera to launch Field Mouse Films. The company was a specialist in documentary films and was a favorite of corporate clients such as Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism which she obtained from Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C., with her entire family, which includes their three-year-old daughter.
